We do not have a ‘one size fits several’ policy.

All the garments are individually made to measure and are not pre-cut off the peg items. 

If I have not measured your dog at a show, then I use measurements given by you.

When measuring your dog, please make sure they are standing straight, facing forwards and not hunching their back.

The measurements should be taken SNUG to the dog's body with no extra space – not tight but you should not be able to slip any fingers under the tape measure. 

Please measure your dog at least twice to make sure you have the correct measurements.

If a coat does not fit due to the wrong measurements being taken, you will be charged for its alteration

All coats are individually made to measure so can be made to fit any breed, any shape or size can be accommodated – even our brave three-legged companions can have one fitted for them.

We do not have a ‘one size fits many’ sizing policy – all coats are bespoke.

Forest Fleece products are handmade individually to fit YOUR dog

All garments are bespoke and hand-made and are therefore made to measure to fit your dog whatever their shape or size.

These are not stock items, not pre-cut and not made outside the UK, they are all made by me. This enables Forest Fleece to make products for all breeds and crosses of dogs, no matter what their shape or size.

We do not have a ‘sizing chart’ like other products – one size does not fit many!

Most styles can also be embroidered with names, or logos 

The fabric we use is woven, high performance polyester fleece. It is approximately 420 grams per linear metre, Antipil which does not bobble and is of the same grade and qualities found in advanced technical out-door wear.

The Fleece is a soft, lightweight, water repellent, warm and comfortable fabric. It is hydrophobic, holding less than 1% of its weight in water, it retains much of its insulating powers even when wet, and it is highly breathable. It makes an ideal outerwear fabric because it actively wicks moisture away from the body. It is a high performance product that offers warmth and is soft to the touch. Being non-absorbent, your dog will not have to sit in a damp coat.

It is also silent - no rustling or restrictive hard coats to upset a sensitive dog. 

All of our fleece wear is machine washable on a low heat cycle (30 degrees). Washing will completely freshen up the garment as fleece does not absorb and store smells. It can be tumble dried (on a low heat setting) and does not shrink, stretch or fade. 

Fleece has the best wicking properties of all materials and this action continually blocks rain while still breathing away excess moisture (and heat). It is far warmer and much more durable than cotton (including thermal) and wool. 

Wash on a low heat cycle (30 degrees) – this will not affect its properties in any way.

It is water-repellent and therefore shower-proof. The fabric is woven, high performance polyester fleece. It is of the same grade and qualities found in advanced technical out-door wear.

Cuddle Fleece has different properties and is not

The dog fleece jumpers and dog PJ’s can be all one colour/pattern or you can mix and match (Two Tone), choose a different colour body to the legs, neck and back trim, (a Forest Fleece trademark!).

If the colour/pattern you want is not shown on your colour chart……please ask I can normally source what you would like

The range of superhero and character coats are shown but you can request a bespoke design

• Current delivery times approximately 10/14 days although this is approximate depending on workload
• Please note: Stopper Pads are subject to a week turnaround dispatch 
• All other garments are subject to up to 4 week dispatch, this depends on the workload, but the aim is minimum of 2 weeks, by may take up to 4 weeks
• Once your order has been received you will receive an email confirmation, please check the details carefully. Your order will dispatched within 4 weeks, although depending on work load it may be quicker, however you will be advised if it will be any longer than this.
• All items (except for Stopper Pad Protectors) are sent tracked via 2nd class Royal Mail or a courier for extra large beds Stopper pad protectors are send 1st class Royal Mail and obtain proof of posting.
• International items are sent standard shipping with no tracking only proof of posting
• Should you not be happy with your purchase please contact us as we are happy to sort out any problems or queries you may have.
• We recycle, so some packaging may be have been used before

All coats, can be embroidered or vinyl heat pressed with names and/or logos of your choice.

The prices vary depending on what you are having

Unless requested names will be added in an italic font with the colour that suits the garment. 

Badge and logo design artwork will need to be provided by you. We accept artwork in PDF or JPEG formats which you will need to email to me.

We will send you an example via a picture on email of what the design will look like. 

You must ensure that the design, colours, spelling and location on the item are exactly as you want them.

We will need you to confirm via email that you are happy with it. 

Garments ..... I offer 100% guarantee that if you are not happy with your goods, ie, the garments do not fit your dog I will either alter or remake for you.  Garment must be unworn (ie only tried on) and not have any dog hair, dog smells, smoke smell etc 

Beds will only be remade if they are either faulty upon delivery or they are too small/big for your dog

No refund will be made, I will however remake the same design bed in a different size,  You will be invoiced/refunded for the difference cost of the bed. The cost of the return of the bed will be made by the customer.

To avoid this please contact for advise on which size will suit your dog, or order the next size up that you think will be ok for your dog 

As to trading standards law, all bespoke goods once paid for, will not be refunded.
